WCLC’S Gallery Launch
Portraits of Our Community Through Pictures and Words
We are thrilled to announce the launch of Gallery 103, co-located in the Writers’ Collaborative Learning Center, and we invite you to join in celebrating our first exhibition!
This beautiful collection of art celebrates our community through the lens of art and storytelling. From the quiet of a library visit and the energy of bustling neighborhoods to the people within them, at work, at play, and in everyday life, each piece tells a story of the people and places that shape our shared experience. Through diverse artistic expressions, the exhibition reveals the interwoven moments that make up our communities.
Join us for an evening of connecting with fellow art enthusiasts and writers and enjoy drinks and light bites.
Meet the artists and hear the stories behind the pieces:

WCLC’S April Author Talk
Author Talk with Dan Zimmerman
“Shots in the Dark: the Saga of Rocco Balliro,” by Dan Zimmerman
When Dan Zimmerman started his true-crime novel, “Shots in the Dark”, he was writing the story of Rocco Balliro, the Boston mobster believed to be responsible for the shooting deaths of Dan’s aunt and cousin. However, after a two-year span of personal interviews with Balliro himself, Dan believed the subject of his novel was wrongfully convicted. Through his Author Talk, Dan will discuss the circumstances surrounding his novel, his research process, his publishing journey, the difficulties of writing a true-crime novel he had personal connections to, and more.
Admission is FREE!
